How long will my results last?
Results can be seen within 1-2 days, peak at 2weeks post treatment and last 3-4 months. Filler lasts from 9-24 months, depending on the thickness of the product.
What are the aftercare procedures for anti-wrinkle / cosmetic injectables?
- Maintain upright posture for 4 hours after treatment
- Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area
- Activate/exercise the treated muscles for a couple of hours after the treatment
What are the aftercare procedures for dermal fillers?
- Avoid make up for 12 hours Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours
- Avoid rubbing, massaging or putting excessive pressure on the area for two weeks
- Avoid extended sun exposure and extreme temperatures for two weeks
- Avoid surface-active treatments such as laser, dermabrasion, chemical for 1 month
- If swelling occurs ice or cold pack can be applied Patients may experience no side-effects at all or they may experience injection site redness, pain, firmness, swelling, lumps and bumps, bruising, itching or discolouration at the treatment site.

When is it not suitable to have cosmetic injectables performed?

What are the possible side effects of cosmetic injectables?
Possible Side-effects are usually mild and temporary. The most common side-effects are localised to the area of injection. Possible side-effects include headaches, pain, burning/stinging, bruising,swelling or redness at the injection site. Swollen eyelids, skin tension/tightness, tingling sensations, itching/aching forehead, nausea and flu like symptoms can also occur.
